“ Thursday night steak special can’t be beat. 45 for 40 oz porterhouse, t-bone or prime rib plus two sides. Porterhouse was very well seasoned and cooked medium well as requested. Seafood platter was also good. Fried scallops and flounder were especially good. Service was excellent. Very old school atmosphere…very local feel in a good way. Would definitely go back. ”
“ This is an old-school Steak House, lots of history and character. Very family oriented, a father and son at a table playing checkers while staff is talking about local news. Steaks were delicious and large portions. I had a 16oz Porterhouse, and it was huge and perfect. Would happily go back. ”
“ My friend had the 40oz porterhouse. I had the 32oz prime rib. Both were delicious. The bread was warm and crusty. The sides were definitely mediocre, but also clearly not the reason why people come here. ”
“ Very classic family owned restaurant no fancy decor or frills but the food and service is always good. I’ve actually been here several times to enjoy their nightly specials as well as reserve the private room for a birthday party and everything was great! The prime rib is phenomenal as well as their other amazing specials. I’ve never had the lobster ironically. Most of my visits are spent at the bar, it can get a nice crowd of people on the weekends but during the week it’s easy in and out. If you haven’t been here you should definitely check them out. ”
“ I have lived in Baltimore for over 30 years and have driven by this place hundreds of times but never went in, and now I'm kicking myself for it. It has a nice warm feel on the inside, a full bar and the food was outstanding. They don't just sell seafood either, there were Greek and Italian options as well. For the quality of food and the portions they give you, the pricing is great. They have a parking lot on the side of the building as well as some on street in the front. All of the servers there treat you like family and that's really rare, you can tell that they are treated well by the management. I was blown away by the experience there, you won't be disappointed!!!!! ”
“ My partner and I came here for the first time and were blown away by how amazing the food was. He got the t-bone and I got the prime rib. The steaks were massive and ultra juicy. Both steaks were cooked to perfection. We will definitely be coming back. This place is a must try! ”
“ Quiet and quaint. I was there 40 years ago when it was Smittys. The place looks the same and the food was great. Service a little slow, but the food was good with very large servings. You'll definitely be taking some home with you. I got the prime rib and crab cake. Actually one of the better to best crab cakes in the Baltimore area. I highly recommend. I originally thought that the prime rib was tough when cutting it. The problem was that the knife I was using needed sharpening. The au jus was a perfect addition to the prime rib. The prices on the higher side, but considering the amount of food I was served, it was a good value. I guarantee I'll be back soon. ”
“ I found this great place because it was highly recommended on Google. And I would very much agree with the high rating. Parking was easy, I was seated very quickly upon arrival and received very prompt service and food. I got the feeling that this was a regular place for the locals which is always a good sign. The Monday night special 24 oz. prime rib for 16 was an excellent entree and a great value. Seldom have I had any better. I would definitely go back and recommend everyone give this place a try. ”
